Why We're Gathering

Transforming the built environment demands more than ambition. It requires bold leadership, radical collaboration, and collective action. The Carbon Action Convening is designed for the leaders who are ready to move from commitments to implementation—building the partnerships and collective momentum needed to rapidly decarbonize the built environment.

Who We're Convening

Progress depends on collaboration across sectors. That's why the convening will include leaders from every part of the built environment ecosystem—from developers, owners, designers, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers to investors, policymakers, researchers, and mission-driven organizations.

Together, these perspectives create the foundation for solving challenges that no single organization can address alone.

Invited participants include a curated group of executive and senior leaders representing:

  • Building owners and developers
  • Architecture and engineering firms
  • General contractors
  • Financial institutions and investors
  • Government and policymakers
  • Sustainability and nonprofit organizations
  • Industry associations
  • Academic and research institutions

Every participant is selected for both the perspective they bring and their ability to catalyze action beyond the convening itself.

Ways to Participate

If you believe your work aligns with the goals of the convening, we welcome expressions of interest for consideration as an attendee or partner. Please note that a limited number of invitations are available for senior leaders to participate in this invite-only gathering.
